Meet the Farmer
Welcome to Persephone Farm CT! I'm Brittany, the owner and operator of this beautiful farm. With a strong background in organic farming, I spent five years honing my skills at a larger organic farm in South County, Rhode Island. During that time, I discovered my passion for growing flowers, especially dahlias, which remain my favorite to cultivate.
As a woman with a science degree and a proud mother of three, I’m constantly learning new ways to farm sustainably on a small scale. In addition to growing flowers, I run a sourdough micro-bakery that offers delicious einkorn bread and cookies. I can't wait to welcome you to our farm stand when we open for the season on June 1st, 2024!

Meet the Employees
Our farm is home to a variety of quail species, each contributing to the fresh eggs available daily at the stand. We lovingly care for Japanese quail, Pharaoh quail, and Northern bobwhite quail. These birds are a vital part of our farm, and their fresh eggs are a popular item for our visitors.

Meet the Farm
Our farm is more than just a stand; it’s a labor of love. We’ve built a thriving ecosystem that includes a greenhouse, terraced garden beds, and a bread oven. We're also developing an underground greenhouse to extend our growing season. At the heart of the farm is our farm stand, where you’ll find vibrant flowers, fresh herbs, seasonal vegetables, sourdough bread, quail eggs, and even bundles of firewood. Every corner of the farm represents our commitment to sustainability and quality.
